Since 2004 she has been working on the Temos certification systems, assessing hospitals, rehabilitation centers, reproductive care centers, and dental clinics worldwide according to the Temos quality criteria for international patient management that were developed together with leading travel health insurances and assistance companies.
She has been working with more than 100 hospitals and medical facilities worldwide from Brazil to the Philippines. Dr. Mika has been regularly invited to international Medical Tourism Conferences and advises different associations and governmental institutions regarding medical tourism issues. She developed the guideline “International Patients Department Processes” for the Turkish Ministry of Health.
In 2011, Dr. Mika received the “High Potential Company Award 2011” for Temos, funded by the European Union. Since 2013 Dr. Mika has been appointed to be one of the judges for the IMTJ Medical Travel Awards, an independent and objective set of awards for the medical travel and tourism industry. Since January 2014 she is the Vice Chairwoman of the Diplomatic Council Healthcare Forum. In 2017 Dr. Mika was awarded the Dr. Sanjiv Malik Lifetime Award for her significant contribution to the development of medical travel and medical tourism over many years. For the 2018 Dubai Health Tourism Forum, she was appointed as a member of the Scientific Board by Dubai Health Authorities (DHA). In 2018 Dr. Mika was appointed as a member of the Governing Board of Swiss Approval International Certification Body.

With expertise in arbitral, institutional, and Ad hoc procedures in regards domestic and foreign companies, and as Counsel and Arbitrator (sole Arbitrator, Co-arbitrator, and Emergency Arbitrator). Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C. Partner, (2015-2020), Associate (since 2005), litigation and arbitration practice at the Querétaro Office.
Before joining Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C., Mr. Aldana worked as Senior Associate at Santamarina y Steta, S.C., (2000-2004) and Hegewisch Abogados, S.C., (2000) in civil, commercial, and arbitration practice. Has also held the position as Legal Manager of media, sports, and entertainment at TV Azteca S.A. de C.V., (1999) and worked as Paralegal in corporate and civil practice at Basham, Ringe y Correa (1994-1998).
Is Speaker at several corporate and professional fora in México and abroad; has drawn up bills drafts and written several articles on dispute prevention and resolution.
Currently, holds the position as Head of Arbitration Bajío Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Mexican member of the ICC World Arbitration Commission (2022-2024). Member of the London Court of International Arbitration, Mexican Bar Association, Club Español del Arbitraje, the Latin American Arbitration Association and Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Concursal.
Mr. Aldana has been recognized as “Recommended Lawyer” by Legal 500 and is ranked as Best Lawyer 2020 in mediation and arbitration practice.
Holds a master’s degree in dispute prevention and resolution from the University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom (2010), a master’s degree in corporate law from Universidad Anáhuac (2008), a major in civil and commercial procedure from Universidad Panamericana (2005), a major in obligations and contracts from Escuela Libre de Derecho (1999), and undergraduate studies in law from Universidad La Salle (1995).

She has been part of several international firms in Boston, New York and Mexico, has also worked as Mediator
for the Court. She worked as a legal researcher for the U.S. Federal Court, District of Massachusetts, USA.
Now she has offices in San Diego,USA. Mexico, Lisbon and world as off counsel for firms in Paris and
Shanghai. She is the Founder of Legal-Core LLC.
As President for the Mexican Council of Medical Tourism, she represents all private entities members of the
Council throughout the country. Counseling Federal and State Governments, private hospitals, hotels , wellness
centers, legal teams and developers. Her. Work includes analysis of international protocols, standards,
international compliance, as well as international laws.
Diana has taught International Law & Compliance at Leon University, Seminars at Nicosia University in
Croatia and Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro. She has dedicated her career to building strategic aliances
around de world advising on corporate transactions, civil matters, government affairs and regularly acts for
founders of those investing in early-stage and startup ventures. She also serves companies as Chief Negotiator
and Mediator on a wide range of contractual arrangements, including outsourcing to other jurisdictions

Dr. Rainer Hilgenfeld is the Chief Medical Officer of Agile Health Management Services, a company working in support of local and international healthcare systems to improve access to as well as quality and medical outcomes of healthcare. Prior to his current position, he was International Coordinator of the International Quality Indicator Project (IQIP®), a subsidiary of Press Ganey Associates, Inc., in Elkridge, Maryland, USA. In this position, he was responsible for training and advising member hospitals and healthcare facilities in 17 countries on all
aspects of measuring clinical outcomes, quality management and improvement.
For more than 20 years Rainer has prepared hospitals in Europe and Asia for accreditation by Joint Commission International. He has been a consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the quality of care in tertiary care hospitals in Pakistan. Since 2013, he is a certified assessor for Temos International and was a member of the Temos Assessors Advisory Board from 2015 - 2019.
Dr. Hilgenfeld is a board-certified internist with 10 years of clinical experience. He holds a doctorate and an MD degree from the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.

Dr. Sterett has been practicing Orthopedic Sports Medicine in Vail, Colorado for 30 years. In addition to Medical School and Residency in California, portions of his training were in Germany and Switzerland.
As Managing Partner at the renowned Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail and then Managing Partner at Vail Summit Orthopedics and Neurosurgery, Dr. Sterett has over 20 years in Orthopedic Practice Management. Orthopedics in Vail has developed an unparalleled reputation attracting patients from all over the globe.
Dr. Sterett was the Head Team Physician for the US Women’s Ski Team for over 25 years, attending five Olympics as a USOC Physician for Team USA. This experience has provided a unique international opportunity, as Dr. Sterett served with the Health Care Team for US Athletes in over 20 different countries.
As a part time resident of Punta de Mita, Dr. Sterett has become increasingly aware of the vast opportunities available in bringing US style Health Care at Latin American prices to Mexico. registers.
Internet: Mindy defends internet companies against lawsuits based on user posts, and is a passionate defender of
CDA Section 230. This includes claims of defamation, copyright and similar claims on First Amendment, DMCA
and US SPEECH Act grounds. She also contributed to an ABA book on Social Media Law.
Health Care: Mindy defends healthcare entities against claims brought by physicians and staff and provides advice
regarding medical staff matters. She also litigates healthcare technology, medtech, retaliation, and medical device

Visas Information
Mexico Visa requirements
- If you intend to attend the Seminar, and require a visa to enter Mexico, we advise that you register for the conference as early as possible to receive your visa support letter and maximise the time for visa applications to be processed.
- It is very important that participants who need a visa to enter Mexico apply and book their visa appointment as soon as possible at the appropriate Mexican Consulate.
- When a visa is issued, the visa is valid for entry into Mexico for 6 months.
- Mexican Consulates do not handle rapid-process or short notice visa requests, so late applications are unlikely to be successful.
- An immigration lawyer cannot ensure obtaining a visa for entry into Mexico in time for the Conference if the visa is not requested in advance.
- On payment of your delegate fee, the Mexican Council for Medical Tourism will issue a visa letter confirming your registration at the conference to support your visa application.
- Some consulates have considerable waiting times to grant appointments, particularly the Mexican Consulate in India
Exemptions to Visa requirements
- All foreign visitors, regardless of their nationality, traveling to Mexico for tourism, business or in transit to another destination, are exempt from presenting a Mexican visa as long as they have a valid visa issued by any the following countries: Canada, Japan, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area.
- Foreign visitors who, regardless of their nationality, have a valid permanent resident card from Canada, Chile, Colombia, Japan, Peru, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area, do not require a Mexican visa.

Citizens from the following countries who wish to come to Mexico require a visa before travelling to Mexico. You must obtain this visa from the Mexican Consulate in your own country or another of your choice.

Electronic Travel Authorization
Citizens from Turkey, Ukraine and Russia need an electronic travel authorization which will allow them to travel to Mexico without a visa for touristic purposes.

To enter Mexican territory the above travelers must present:
- A valid passport with a minimum six-month period of validity from date of arrival and the document must be valid at the time of entry and for the period you wish to be in Mexico.
- If a foreigner is entering Mexico by air, they are required to complete an immigration form online

- Immigration authorities at the port of entry may request documents proving the purpose of the visit, hotel reservation, proof of your departure booking, confirmation of your conference registration, proof of sufficient funds for the period of stay in Mexico and possession of an international credit card.
