Leticia Angélica García Otamendi
She is currently a consultant on hospital issues regarding Health Quality and Regulation, she was the Chief Coordinator of the Federal Health System at COFEPRIS, Deputy General Director of Regulation and Management of Human Resources in Training of the General Directorate of Quality and Education in Health of the Ministry of Health, she taught the subject of social security at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. She holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Instituto Ortega y Gasset, a Master’s degree in Management and Administration of Social Security Systems from the Universidad de Alcalá and the Organización Iberoamericana de Seguridad Social. She also holds a Doctorate in Administrative Law from the Universidad San Pablo CEU, all in educational institutions in Spain. In the public sector, she worked in the Public Health Services in the Federal District, in the Coordination of Delegations and in the Coordination of Transformation and Institutional Development of the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers, in the General Gea González Hospital, and she held the position of Director of Legal Services of the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Policy.
